Warriors secure bonus point victory over Scottish

Saturday 01 November 2025

Worcester Warriors bounced back from last week’s defeat with an eight-try victory over London Scottish at Sixways.

Five first-half tries set the result in motion before a further three in the second period secured the bonus point victory.

It took just two minutes for the Warriors to get over the line when some magic feet from Juan Gonzalez allowed him to escape down the left wing, beating several defenders before sending Will Lane in for the opener.

The second came five minutes later when the Warriors pounced on scraps, allowing Tim Anstee to race down the wing to dot down.

And a third came for Worcester with Billy Twelvetrees breaking off a driving maul to crash over – Eden adding his third conversion.

Noah Ferdinand saw yellow for London Scottish, and the Warriors added two more within the sin-bin period.

First, Jake Garside brought his dancing feet to Sixways to fly over the line to secure the bonus point before Louis Brown started and finished the move, sending the pass outwide to Tom Seabrook before receiving the pass back to cross for a fifth first-half score.

Before the break, there was time for the visitors to get on the board, with Ferdinand finishing well in the corner.

A number of changes in the early period of the second half saw the arrival of Tom Golder and Chris Preen for their Worcester debuts and new arrival Huw Taylor for his second debut.

And it was one of those substitutions, Livai Natave who crossed for the first try of the second half, powering over from close range for the Warriors sixth.

London Scottish added a second try with Harry Clayton going over from a driving maul, but Worcester hit back almost immediately when Will Reed glided through a gap for his side's seventh.

The game was seemingly petering out as it edged into its final minutes, but there was still time for another try apiece.

London Scottish first crossed for a third, with replacement hooker Jack Wright going over this time.

But there was still time for the Warriors to put the icing on the cake with Brown adding his second after cutting back inside through a hole in the Scottish defence.
