The Warriors are back in Champ Rugby action this weekend, taking on Cambridge at Sixways after two weekends without rugby. Speaking ahead of Saturday’s game, Warriors Assistant Coach Tom Cruse said, “We all had a bit of time to recuperate, gather our thoughts a bit as well after that last block, and then we’ve ripped into training last week with an eye on a big block of games.”

Khalik Kareem to join Bears on loan till end of the season

Worcester Warriors can today confirm that Khalik Kareem will join Bristol Bears on loan till the end of the season to complete his rehabilitation ahead of joining the Bears permanently in the summer.

Your Club

Worcester Rugby Football Club, now known as Worcester Warriors, was founded in 1871 by Rev Francis John Eld and the team played its first match in November of that year against the Royal Artillery Rugby Club.

The club faced challenges early on, including disbandment in 1896 and interruptions during the World Wars.

Despite these setbacks, the club grew steadily through the 20th century, developing strong teams and acquiring grounds such as Claines, Perdiswell, and Bilford Road.
