He said: "Conditions weren't great but the forward pack put in a great shift and the half-backs controlled the game well.
"Since our difficult match against Leicester Tigers, the boys have responded fantastically and put in two fine performances against Gloucester and Sale."
The youngsters will be up against Leeds Carnegie U18s on Saturday 11 January and Gale is hoping his side can continue on their recent improvements.
He concluded: "Leeds are up next and I'm expecting the boys to show the same sort of character as they have in the last two games.
"Hopefully they can continue building on the momentum they have gained in the recent performances and pick up a win so we can move up the table."
