He said: "My job here is to find out what works, where we need to improve and what we need to bring in in terms of systems and resources.
"I'll look after all strength and conditioning, fitness, exercise science and the academy structure.
"I've got a responsibility to develop staff in all the areas I'm overseeing and I want them to be the best in their fields.
"I'll influence those areas and I want to make us a top-four club and get loads of youngsters wearing Warriors shirts."
The High Performance Director believes the academy set-up will play a key part in the club's development and insists it is an area where he will be looking to make a big difference.
He added: "We need to get the conveyor belt working. We need to build some partnerships in the region and work with local institutions and local rugby clubs.
"We will look to give them information and help them along the way. The buy-in from the local region is massive. We're a community club and want to give things back to local clubs.
"It's about getting talent out of this area and putting a Worcester shirt on them at the weekend.
"We've got a broad region which stretches out to Shropshire, Malvern and Ross. It's about putting out some sensors so we can get contact with individuals and work with parents of 14 to 18-year-olds to have a great education programme before getting them to the club."
