The club has been in communication with Worcester City Council for a number of months, lobbying for improvements to the surface as a direct response to our supporters' feedback.
The council has been extremely supportive and work was carried out in between fixtures to ensure there was minimal disruption.
The nature trail is also a very popular walk and cycle way for the general public and it was identified that the surface required attention.
The whole nature trail track has received a new tarmac surface, as well as a dropped kerb at the Offerton Lane end.
There have also been designated areas built in to the design to accommodate the temporary lighting that the club installs for supporters on matchdays.
Warriors Head of Operations Brian Ryan said: "I am very pleased we've been able to work with the County Council to highlight the needs for these resurfacing works to be carried out following supporters' feedback over a number of seasons.
"We are committed to enhancing all areas within our remit to ensure a comfortable journey to the stadium.
"I would like to add my personal thanks to Warwick Neale and Mark Sherwood of Worcester City Council, who have been very supportive throughout the process.
"The new surface will be better suited to the footfall that uses this walkway, in particular our supporters. It will also allow us better management of the walkway during the winter months when snow becomes a concern."
