At Warriors, we are looking to increase our matchday entertainment and for the first game of the season today, there are a number of events to look forward to.
At 1.50pm, the band, Time of the Mouth will be playing an acoustic session behind the North Stand until 2.30pm and will also perform following the match.
Club mascot, Maximus, will be available from 1.55pm to meet and greet everyone in the North Stand Food Village, and cheerleading group Dance in Motion will hold a dance workshop for children in the children's area, before entertaining on the pitch before the game and during half-time.
Warriors' brand new War Cry song will be played on the big screen and over the PA system at 2.40pm, before the players run out onto the pitch whilst pyrotechnics and flame throwers are set off in a grand opening to the new season at Sixways.
At half-time, the new War Cry song will be played again before a presentation on the pitch to the composer of the song, Andrew Kristy.
Matchday programmes will be available to buy from programme sellers around the ground, priced at £3. The first edition of the new-look programme includes a player feature with new club captain, Jonathan Thomas.
It promises to be a fun-filled afternoon at Sixways, so don't miss out!
We are also delighted to confirm that if you purchase a Season Ticket before the end of September, you will receive your money back on any match you have already attended!
Fans who have already bought a Season Ticket can also bring a friend for £10 when they use the voucher included in the Season Ticket pack.
