He said: "I'm looking forward to the match and the other players are looking forward to it. We're really pleased with how we've trained this week and we've been through a lot of scenarios so we'll be ready.
"It will be a challenge. They won the league last season so it will be tough for us. But it's a new regime under Dean Ryan and everyone is raring to go."
Drauniniu's side played out two closely contested matches against Leicester last season. Warriors almost secured a losing bonus-point at Welford Road last September and Drauniniu believes the Sixways side can build on that on Sunday.
He continued: "We travelled to Leicester for our second game of last season and we put some points across. We got in their 22 and got a couple of tries.
"And a lot has changed since then. Pre-season was a great way of showing how far we've come and we've learnt a lot. We're building and we'll see what we can do at Welford Road."
Drauniniu will be doing all he can to secure a place in the team which starts at Leicester and has paid tribute to the competition in the squad.
He added: "The boys are confident and there's a lot of competition for places. Everyone wants to play in the first game.
"A lot of players want to get their Aviva Premiership debut for Worcester and Welford Road is a great place to do it. It's a test and we'll give everything we have in their back yard."
