He said: "I've only been around a short while but the weather has been good and I'm excited about the season. There's a really nice bunch of guys here and everyone has been very welcoming.
"I moved from Paris to Gloucestershire and also set-off to Australia to see my family so it's been a busy summer but I've settled in well."
Warriors will travel to Welford Road on the opening weekend of the campaign as Director of Rugby Dean Ryan begins his Sixways tenure with a trip to the Aviva Premiership champions.
And Warwick believes the clash provides his new side with the perfect opportunity to see how far they have come since last season.
He continued: "It will be good to face Leicester Tigers on the opening weekend because it will help us get a gauge on where we are.
"They are one of the best teams in the league so it will be a huge test but we are all looking forward to it."
With the world's attention currently focused on international rugby and the final test between Australia and the British and Irish Lions, former Barbarian Warwick has tipped Australia to prevail in what he believes will be a timely finale to the series.
He finished: "It's been so tight to call and I haven't been able to predict either game. Being Australian though, I'd like to see them win.
"I think it's only fitting it has come down to the final game and I'll be watching eagerly along with everyone else."
