Warriors still have to face Saracens and London Welsh on the road, but Hill was disappointed that an opportunity to break the losing sequence was missed at the Madejski Stadium.
"Those who have watched the Warriors over the last few years have realised at home we are a completely different side. We have got to find the answer to that," said Hill.
"We had a chat in the dressing room afterwards to find out why we perform like we do away from home.
"I am sure we will see a different side next week at home, but we are all working very hard to find a solution to us playing away from Sixways.
"We have tried so many different things and approaches, but again it has not happened today.
"I am sorry for the supporters, we appreciate them coming to support us and we are working hard to crack it.
"The players are as disappointed as anybody about today, we had targeted this to get an away win."
Hill admitted it was a day of few positives, but added the second half return of Semisi Taulava and Chris Jones from injury had been a boost.
"I am pleased they got some game time," he added. "They have had 20 odd minutes under the belt and that is pleasing. I couldn't find too many more positives."
