The result and manner of performance delighted Hill who also paid tribute to the home crowd who created a special Friday night atmosphere.
He said: "The support from the crowd I thought was just brilliant. It was a great atmosphere and I'm so pleased for the Worcester supporters.
"They have gone through some tough times in recent weeks, just as the players have, so they deserved it.
"The players are pretty happy because I have given them a few days off now," smiled Hill.
"I did say we were coming in unless we had a very good win on Friday night. In the huddle in the end Percy (James Percival) said he felt that was a good win and I could feel 23 eyes staring me down.
"I am relieved and I'm delighted for the players, supporters and everybody connected with the club.
"At no stage was I going to veer away from playing an expansive game. The only way to get out of this situation is to play rugby and score tries.
"London Irish have shown that, you win games by scoring tries, and James Percival made our intentions known early on as we went for the corner and not three points.
"Credit to the players and to score three try bonus points this year is very good. I don't think Worcester has ever done that, probably no more than one, and with five games to go we would like to do it again.
"We have a lot of work to do still, but I want supporters to come here and see tries scored and that is what it is all about."
