Matavesi, who scored a conversion in the recent international game with England at Twickenham, admitted he had enjoyed the experience away with his country.
"I enjoyed my time with Fiji. Worcester have been so supportive of everyone who is picked for their country," he added.
"Richard Hill is so proud and shows support for all the guys who are called up. I am very happy with that and the environment at Sixways.
"You don't feel guilty about going away and he said to us to go for it and make Worcester proud. Ultimately, it is the Warriors name in the match day programme next to our name and so it is good for the club if we go away and play well for our country."
