The young prop was introduced by Richard Hill with under 15 minutes remaining and made an instant impact after finishing off a good move from James Percival.
The 22-year-old said: "I was delighted with my first league try for the club. It's great to score as a prop, but everyone is obviously disappointed with the draw.
"We've been working on things in training and we're making improvements on the pitch and that's what you want to see.
"Obviously there is still that final piece of the puzzle which is missing, but it will come together soon and we'll start to win games."
Currie also stated that he wants to play as much Aviva Premiership rugby as possible this season and hopes he will improve with every appearance he makes.
He added: "I want to be involved as much as I can this season. I need to get that experience. I want to keep my head down, work hard and learn as much as possible. I've really enjoyed the matches I've played in so far.
"We've got fantastic supporters at Worcester and it's great when they get behind us like they did today. They will help us progress this season and we know we will repay them with a victory soon."
