And it was King's Worcester who regained the Modus trophy as they defeated the blustery elements and their local school rivals.
Ben O'Hickey opened the scoring for King's after 10 minutes before two further unanswered tries through George Jeavons-Fellows and Michael Allen, plus a conversion from George Kitchin, allowed them to open up a 17-0 half-time lead.
A further three tries in the second half through, Jeavons-Fellows, Allen and William Meikle, and a conversion from Kitchin, allowed King's to win by a record margin.
King's Worcester coach Jonny Mason said: "I am enormously proud of the boys. They played with commitment and conviction and to score six tries in those conditions was quite something. It's good to have the Modus trophy back at King's and we look forward to defending it next year."
