Carol Hart, Community Involvement Manager at npower, said: "It was a great day and everyone really enjoyed themselves. It is amazing that simply enjoying a cup of coffee with friends and colleagues can make a difference to people affected by cancer."
Every year 270,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Macmillan want to support every one of those people and their friends and families too. Two million people took part in last year's coffee morning, raising more than £2.7m. This year's total is still being counted. For more information visit www.macmillan.org.uk
