"Matt needs an x-ray on his foot," admitted Ruddock. "It has been an on-going ligament problem in his ankle which goes back to the Wasps game when he missed the game after in the league.
"This doesn't appear to be the same injury - this appears to be more of a bone issue.
"This is a possibility he could have a fracture. We are hoping that is not the case but we will know more over the next 48 hours."
Warriors also lost Chris Latham during the game to a knee injury and hooker Chris Fortey was also taken off early on in the first half after suffering at the breakdown.
"It was an expensive night with a few bumps and bruises picked up," added Ruddock.
"Chris Fortey took a heavy knock on his shoulder, but I would be surprised if it keeps him out for too long."
