Worcester Warriors are today delighted to announce that the club has been chosen to host the prestigious international fixture between England Under-18 and Wales Under-18.
Sixways Stadium will once again welcome international rugby with the future sporting talent from both countries battling it out on Sunday, March 2 (kick-off 3pm).
Warriors have previously hosted the England Under-21 team on four occasions in the last decade and General Manager Charlie Little said the club was delighted to once again be handed the chance to showcase an international match.
"We are honoured to be chosen to host this prestigious fixture at Sixways Stadium and look forward to welcoming the England and Wales U18 teams," said Mr Little.
"Having already hosted international rugby here, the fixture will provide a further boost to the growing reputation of Sixways as one of the leadings stadiums in Europe. Our facilities have been recognised by the RFU and with improved car parking and access we are confident we will host a very successful and special event.
"The game here will offer rugby supporters across the Midlands a great chance to watch the stars of tomorrow and will provide for many families and young fans the chance to enjoy international rugby for the first time.
"We want to ensure the game is a huge success and have priced the tickets for the game accordingly. Hopefully the offers available will encourage our debenture and season ticket holders and the people of Worcestershire to support this international. If the public get behind this fixture, then hopefully, we could see international rugby returning to Sixways on a regular basis."
Tickets for the match are priced at £10 for adults (£12 on the day) and £5 for juniors (£6 on the day). Limited on-site parking will also be available for £5 per car and must be purchased in advance.
Worcester Warriors Debenture and Season Ticket holders have been given priority booking until January 18. Tickets will go on general sale from Monday, January 28 from both the Ticket Office and on-line at http://www.wrfc.co.uk/
Hospitality packages will also be available for the international. For more information call the Sales department on 01905 459354.
