Windo has since joined the club's coaching staff as assistant forwards coach and is looking forward to sharing his big day with the Sixways Stadium faithful.
The match will be Worcester's only home game in their build up to the 2008/09 Guinness Premiership season. Local rivals Moseley are preparing for their most successful season yet in National Division One and with a number of ex-Premiership players and a few old favourites from Worcester aboard it promises to be a very competitive game.
"I am delighted to be having this game at the club," said Windo. "It will be a very emotional day for me and I plan to savour every moment. I hope the fans can share in this special occasion."
Mike Ruddock gave his backing to the match, adding: "Tony is a loyal servant of Worcester Warriors and I cannot think of a more fitting tribute than to have this game to honour him.
"It also gives the fans the opportunity to once again show their admiration and appreciation for such a well respected player. It will be a fantastic day for everyone as well as a crucial game in our pre-season schedule."
"Tony is one of Worcester's true professionals," added Chairman Cecil Duckworth. "We look forward to hosting this game on behalf of his testimonial committee in honour of Tony's illustrious career."
Limited Parking will be available on the day of the game on a first come first served basis and fans are advised the game will have a restricted capacity due to development work on the East Stand at Sixways Stadium.
We are hoping for donations of £10 per adult and £5 for children for entrance to the match. Full ticketing details will be made available in the coming days.
