Pat Sanderson appeared at a Rugby Camp at Sixways Stadium
Ninety young Warriors in the making braved the elements during half term to attend Warriors Premier Rugby Academy Camp at Sixways Stadium.
Participants were treated to two-days of rugby coaching from Warriors staff, and got to meet a host of Warriors 1st team stars including New Zealand international Sam Tuitupou, current Scottish international Alex Grove and club captain Pat Sanderson.
The rain and snow that fell from the sky was not enough to dampen the spirits of the enthusiastic youngsters, who got to spend time with the Warriors stars, who helped coach the groups, passed on experience and knowledge through a question and answer session, and presented prizes and awards to each group.
We have already had some very positive feedback:
"Thank you to the Worcester Community team on behalf of myself and my wife for what was a superb two days of rugby training experienced by my eight year old son"
"His confidence, development, knowledge in understanding the game further was well above our expectations"
"The overall organisation for both the children and parents was well above the camp which he attended at another Premiership club last year"
Warriors will be running two rugby camps over the Easter Holidays:
Kings Hawford School 7th 8th and 9th April 2010 ages 5-12
Cleobury Mortimer RFC 13th and 14th April 2010 ages 6-16

Premiership Rugby today announced an extension of their partnership with the UK's largest insurance company, Aviva, for a further three years. The contract extension, which starts in the 2014-15 season, will cover a golden era for club rugby in England and will include a period when the country will host a Rugby World Cup and when rugby union will finally rejoin the Olympic movement.
Not only are the great and the good of the Aviva Premiership Rugby strutting their stuff at Twickenham this Saturday - so are the new generation of rugby players, including Worcester RFC, courtesy of the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup.
Warrior Stuart Brooks will represent the club at Twickenham next weekend as he battles for the honour of carrying the coveted Aviva Premiership Rugby trophy onto the pitch ahead of the final between Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints.
