The hard-hitting 31-year-old is now gearing up for the must-win clash at Headingley Carnegie this weekend and is determined to produce a result when it matters most.
"We have got to throw everything at it," said Rawlinson. "These games are like cup finals when everything is at stake.
"It has been a frustrating season. We have come so close to a lot of the big teams, but we seem to have missed out on a lot of opportunities where we could have won games.
"All those situations have added up, and that's why we find ourselves where we are.
"You look at the way we've played against the top teams, then we have progressed, but it has been a really tough league this season."
