And the Academy Manager insists the club has no time to dwell if they want to follow in the footsteps of Northampton Saints and Harlequins in bouncing back immediately.
"If you look at Northampton, they spent their time very wisely in the Championship," he said.
"They came back up into the Premiership and became a very good top six side. Now they are challenging for top spot and are in the final stages of European competitions.

"This week we will hold a review with all the players and the date for pre-season return has been set.
"We will give them all schedules, in terms of a physical, medical and technical perspective, to go away and think about, to work on in pre-season.
"We will be planning the finer details of pre-season in the next week or two. The season is almost always ongoing now and we must get our pre-season and our grounding work that will carry us through correct."
