All-action Higgitt will now once again team up with Hill after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal at Warriors.
And the 28-year-old is eager to get started in the Championship for a man who he firmly believes is the perfect choice to fire Worcester's bid for an immediate return to the English top-flight.
"It's great to get the deal all signed and I can now look forward to my future at Warriors," said Higgitt.
"It's a very exciting time for me to be joining a club with such massive potential and ambition - I know we have a challenge ahead of us but it's one I think we will hit head-on.
"Obviously I have worked with Richard before at Bristol and know the type of culture and atmosphere he will create - that is a big pull for me to join Warriors, you want to be a part of that.
"He creates an environment where you are determined to contribute and be part of a success story, you want to bring a new dimension and make your own impact.
"I expect him to be a big success at Warriors and so it's exciting to be able to link up with him again, I know how he operates and what he demands from the players and his staff.
He added: "I have played at Sixways a few times before for Bristol and everyone in rugby knows about the facilities - it's an outstanding club that always seems to be moving forward.
"Last year was not ideal for anyone concerned, but now a new beginning has started, the Warriors are going in the right direction and it's genuinely exciting to be a part of that.
"I have played in some pretty special atmospheres at Worcester before. It's a passionate place with very vocal fans who really get involved. It will be nice to be cheered rather than booed for once and have them behind me."
