Sarah Kirkpatrick, Events Organiser for the British Heart Foundation, said: "Cycling is a great source of fitness and fun and it's never too late to take it up. By taking part in the Worcester Bike Ride, you can help make a difference to the lives of people suffering from heart disease."
Sixways summer signing Adam Balding added: "At Warriors we all understand the importance of physical fitness and how much fun cycling can be.
"Everyone at Sixways is backing the bike ride in Worcester and encouraging people to take to the saddle and raise crucial funds for the important work of the British Heart Foundation."
The club has donated a family ticket (two adults, two children) to their first game of the league season with Birmingham & Solihull on Saturday, August 28. These tickets will be awarded to the person who manages to raise the most money for the sponsored event.
To enter the Worcester Bike Ride, please visit bhf.org.uk/worcester or call 0800 169 3672. Registration in advance is just £10 for adults and £5 for under 16's - who must be accompanied by an adult. Or you can sign up on the day which will cost £15 for adults and £5 for children.
