Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock has indicated he will select a strong team for the home clash as Warriors look to return to winning ways on home soil.
And Team Manager Carter revealed after a week of honest assessment in the camp the team were fired up for the second leg of the double header.
"The LV= Cup is a great opportunity for us. We want momentum back in our game, especially at Sixways, so we will be taking this game very seriously," he said.
"We learnt a lot last week and the players have been fairly frank with each other and given each other feedback. If we are honest with ourselves, we didn't do ourselves justice last weekend.
"Mike (Ruddock) is keen to put a similar team together to play this weekend. We are playing at Sixways and we want to get some momentum back into what we are doing as a group.
"We need to start winning again and I think the opportunity will be there for a large number of players that played last week to put things right."
Warriors face an early kick-off for the LV= Cup clash but Carter insists the side will fly out of the traps.
And he revealed positive injury news as a quartet of players returned to training this weekend to push for selection.
"We've had some early kick offs here before, I remember the game against Brive in Europe and we were early against Northampton at the start of the season," he said.
"It certainly didn't disrupt us in that game. In fact, the Saints game was probably one of the best performances of the season, although we just lost out at the end.
"We need to get back to that. We are missing one or two players that were there on that occasion, people like Matt Mullan and Kai Horstmann. They are good leaders within the group.
"The good news with Kai is that he had an operation on Tuesday and is likely to be back in the next few weeks, that is great news.
"We also have four players back in training with us this week in Dale Rasmussen, Olivier Sourgens, Graham Kitchener and Greg King. That will help the group as well.
"Chris Latham is back with us this week, he has done some light training and he will be fit for selection for the weekend."
