The game, which will be played on the main pitch at Sixways Stadium at 7pm on Monday, May 4, will make up the first part of Warriors involvement in a national campaign by all 12 Guinness Premiership clubs to raise money for the Matt Hampson Trust, the next leg of which being a walk from Rugby town to Twickenham Stadium in the run up to the Premiership final on May 16.

The team will feature players from various departments throughout the organisation, including the 1st XV rugby department, Academy department, Community department and media department.

Warriors Community Rugby Officer, Simon Lane, who is helping to organise the event, said: "it promises to be a superb evening, and for some of the guys playing will be their first game for some time.

"Matt Hampson had a promising future as a player but suffered the worst possible injury, when he was paralyzed from the neck down as the result of an accident during a scrumaging session.

"Despite this he continues to battle on and supports others through a charity of which he is patron called Special Effects. He is an incredible man and Warriors as part of the wider rugby community are pleased to support his trust."

Match tickets are now on sale at £3 each and are available from Warriors Box Office on 01905 454183. Match day parking is available with a charge of £2 on the night, with all money raised going to charity.
