Carlisle changed again her hairstyle significantly for her second solo album, giving up her California Girl blonde bob for a long auburn style for 1987's Heaven on Earth. The album became a Top 5 bestseller across the globe and was nominated for a Grammy Award. The first release from Heaven on Earth was Heaven is a Place on Earth followed up by I Get Weak and Circle in the Sand. After the release of the Heaven on Earth album, Carlisle embarked on the 'Good Heavens' world tour.
The albums Runaway Horses and Live Your Life Be Free followed before her fifth studio album, Real, appeared in 1993. Carlisle has continued to enjoy hit success and in 2007 the singer released her seventh album, Voila, which was her first full-length, solo studio album in more than ten years.
Belinda Carlisle will be joined on the day at the home of Worcester Warriors by The Human League, Bananarama, Heaven 17 and T'Pau - making this a not-to-be-missed 1980s revival party on the stadium pitch this summer.
