Director of Rugby Ruddock revealed he is pleased to have his coaching set-up now cemented down as he looks to take the club forward in the Guinness Premiership.
"I'm a big fan of what Leicester have done, not only on the field over a number of years but also off it," said Ruddock.
"They are not afraid to promote their best ex-players to coaching positions. We have seen Dean Richards have a huge amount of success with them, we saw people like Pat Howard, John Wells, who went on to coach England, and now Richard Cockerill who is doing well.
"I'm a big fan of that ethos. It breeds a winning mentality and a mindset that you care about the club because it is one you have played for.
"With Tony Windo and Matt Powell on board as well, it is fantastic for us and big development.
"Now Billy has signed a new deal we have a very settled look behind the scenes and that is important to take us forward."
