The night was set off by the energetic MC, Lee Canterbury, who entertained and eased the audience into the first set.

The feisty scot Brian Higgins, followed up with some near to the knuckle tales of life on the road and parenthood sending many of the audience into a familiar appreciation hysteria, with a bit of denial thrown in.

The main act of the evening, Tony Gerrard finished the relay of hilarity with tales of his life as a wheelchair using Spurs supporter and life with the ladies, never to be forgotten by a by now exhausted audience!

Enjoyed by all, enquiry on return tickets for the next show were in demand on the night.

The acts adorning the Sixways stage on April 2 will be Rob Collins, Dominic Woodward and Harry Denford.

MC - ROB COLLINS
Since reaching the final of "So You Think You're Funny?" 2004, Rob has gone on to become a very much in demand act on the UK and Irish circuit as both compere and stand-up comedian. Rob Collins is 'a faultless compere and all round great comedian' (funny.co.uk), he is also very sharp in engaging the audience and gives them exactly what they want. He has the sort of natural, chatty persona that is impossible to ignore or dislike.

ACT 1 - DOMINIC WOODWARD
Nominated best breakthrough act at the northwest comedy awards. He has supported Men in Coats on part of their recent tour. He analyses the characteristics of the martial arts enthusiast, discusses sign language. Takes a close look at Body Shop products, how to get your own back at Argos and sets the record straight for McDonald's employees' worldwide.

HEADLINE - HARRY DENFORD
A full SAFFF London geezer, Harry invites us into his world, a world of stone cladding, gold sovereigns and where owning a holiday caravan in Essex is considered class. Experience a journey with him as a virtual passenger in the comfort of a top of the range Ford Granada Ghia on the "G" plate of course, as you learn about why Lenor fabric softener is banned in the whole of 'Sarf' London and why he is the only pilot from that part of the world…

Warriors youngster Ben Howard starred for England Under 20s last night as they defeated New Zealand 33-21 to book their place in the IRB Junior World Championship final for the fourth time in six years.

Worcester wing Ben Howard has been named in the England Under 20s team to take on New Zealand in the semi-final of the IRB Junior World Championship in Vannes, France, on Tuesday June 18, kick off 1945 (GMT).

The Warriors Community team have been busy working with people across Worcestershire over the last year and have been given the perfect reward for their efforts after being nominated for a top prize at the All Parliamentary Premiership Rugby Community Awards 2013.
