Flanker Wood, a product of the Warriors Academy system, has just returned after shoulder surgery and has made 12 appearances for the club this season.
The 22-year-old, born and bred in Coventry, suffered the latest setback during the narrow Guinness Premiership victory over London Wasps at the weekend and his enforced layoff has now been confirmed following x-rays.
Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock said: "It's a blow to lose Tom again so soon after he returned from his shoulder injury and we now wish him a speedy recovery.
"Tom is an outstanding young back row with a bright future ahead of him. He has been exceptionally unlucky with injuries so far this season, but I know he will be keen to defy the medical reports and return as soon as possible.
"His absence will give an opportunity to others in the back row that I am sure will be keen to take this chance to stake a claim for more first team rugby."
