The young people will be involved in physical training as well as IT based education in the Warriors impressive educational suite. At the end of the programme the young people will take part in a graduation ceremony to acknowledge the progress made.
Clare Huyton, Executive Director of Spa Housing, Part of Festival Housing Group commented: "This is a really worthwhile project for us to be involved with. It is in everyone's best interest to ensure that Droitwich's young people remain engaged in their education. Through working with the Warriors, the High School, the Police and the Youth Offending Service I think we are going to achieve a great deal with this programme."
'Warriors are delighted to be continuing the success of the Walk like a Warrior scheme of work that is now in its fourth intake," said Simon Lane, from Warriors Community Coach. "Working with young people who are motivated to learn through sport is very rewarding and with the continued support of our Principle community partner npower and the project partners Spa Housing Association, YOS and the West Mercia Constabulary we hope to make this project the most successful yet."
