The west car park was a hive of activity with live animal displays including a barn own and Boris the Boa constructor as well as displays from the fire brigade, police and Landrover.
The Warriors open day success was followed by a pre-season friendly against Ebbw Vale. Mike Ruddock opted for a young squad all eager to impress and remind the team selectors the skill and high levels of rugby they are capable of.
By half time the score line was 7-10 to Ebbw Vale with Nick Wakley scoring a try and No 10 Gareth Bowen taking the conversion just before the whistle.
Warriors kicked off the second half with a tries coming from James Freeman and Jordan Page. Vale did their best efforts to spoil the Warriors party with Chris Jenkins grabbing a try in the 70th minute - but in the end it was Warriors who were left celebrating in the sunshine as they were applauded by a happy Sixways crowd.
