Both established in the last three years, UKQMS an East Midlands based business and quality Management Company and Cube Precision Engineering who specialise in manufacturing throughout the Aerospace, defence and automotive sectors have signed a joint agreement for corporate hospitality at Warriors for 2012/13 season after connecting through the use of social networking site twitter.
On agreeing the deal, Phill Mason, director of UKQMS commented: "We use twitter as a communication platform for our prospects and customers as a way of advertising our recent new deals or making comment on new quality standards that have been released, through that use we came across Cube Precision."
Neil Clifton, director of Cube continued: "Although initially our common interest was Warriors, it was when we had a requirement for casting inconel that we contacted UKQMS to see if any of their customers could help us.
"Having worked in the casting industry I recommended two options to Neil, on the back of that we met to discuss further opportunities between the two businesses," Phill added.
Neil followed up: "It became obvious that the potential in each other's customer base was beneficial for both companies. UKQMS hosted several customers when they sponsored The Worcester Warriors versus The British Army. We received RFQ's from two of UK QMS's customers and expect to be winning work from at least one of them in the next month"
Sharing of the box has provided a cost effective way for UKQMS and Cube Precision to enjoy hospitality at Worcester Warriors while sharing the benefits of networking with similar client bases.
