Worcester Warriors have today confirmed that England international prop Matt Mullan is set for an enforced spell on the Sixways sidelines after suffering a shoulder injury.

Warriors Community Development department initially invited ten local rugby clubs to take part in the exciting venture and, building gradually, now works closely with 16 partner clubs in developing young players and coaches countywide. The aim is to develop two-way rugby support between the Warriors and the partner clubs.

"We realise the impact our players and staff can have on the wider game and hope that the involvement of a high profile club can grow the game at all levels across the region," said Tom Ryder, Warriors Community Manager.
"We also consider it essential that we pass on useful knowledge gained at the top level to the local clubs, the aim being to improve the standard of rugby being played throughout Worcestershire. Sixways Stadium has gained a reputation as a formidable place for Premiership teams to visit. This is largely down to the tremendous atmosphere created by the supporters, many of whom are provided by the local clubs. We'd like to encourage and promote this relationship."
