CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

The RFU and Worcester Warriors have a moral obligation to ensure that when given responsibility for children and young players, coaches and officials provide them with the highest possible standard of care. As a guideline:
• A young players welfare is paramount
• All young players have the right to protection from abuse, irrelevant of their background
• All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken very seriously
All Academy staff have undergone child protection training and have been appropriately screened by an advanced CRB check. The designated Child Protection Officer for the Academy is the Academy Manager. The Academy operates an 'open door' policy in that players and parents can contact a member of staff at any time should they have any issues or concerns.
