Warriors make it six wins in a row

Worcester Warriors continued their fine run of form with a sixth consecutive victory, overcoming Richmond 31–19 at Sixways to claim another five-point win. Three first-half tries laid the foundations before second-half scores from Jasper Spandler and James Short sealed the bonus-point victory.

At Worcester Warriors, we are committed to our ambition of returning to the Prem, and we have the facilities and fanbase to meet the minimum standards necessary to be a success at that level. Having recently re-established ourselves as a professional club, we have been clear and steadfast in our intention to use this season as a stabilising introduction to professional sport. We have grown exponentially from the start and it is a surprise to no one that we have the intention of seeking an early return to the Prem in the near future.

Ten changes for Warriors visit of Richmond

Worcester Warriors have made ten changes to their side to take on Richmond at Sixways tomorrow afternoon. Changes are spread evenly across both the forwards and backs, with five changes in both.

Six tries for Warriors secures victory over Pirates

07 December 2025

Worcester Warriors produced a six-try performance to claim victory over the Cornish Pirates at Sixways. The hosts ran in four tries before half-time through Will Trewin, Juan González, Khalik Kareem and Tim Anstee, before adding two more in the second half as Kareem completed his brace and Will Reed capped the scoring.

Worcester Rugby Football Club, now known as Worcester Warriors, was founded in 1871 by Rev Francis John Eld and the team played its first match in November of that year against the Royal Artillery Rugby Club.

The club faced challenges early on, including disbandment in 1896 and interruptions during the World Wars.

Despite these setbacks, the club grew steadily through the 20th century, developing strong teams and acquiring grounds such as Claines, Perdiswell, and Bilford Road.
